CELEBRATING THE 80’S
This year’s festival will celebrate the decade with an ’80s Tribute Band, a Big Hair contest, and a pictorial of what Northville was up to in the ’80s.  The Chamber sponsored the first Victorian Festival in 1989.  The complete schedule of Heritage Festival activities is available on the Heritage Festival website.

  • FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH 

    Northville Schools 3rd Grade Program – 9:00am
    Students from 3rd Grade classes at Northville Public Schools will participate in Victorian-related activities throughout town.

    Victorian Saloon – 5:30 to 11 pm 
    One of the Festival’s most popular venues, this beer tent is just the place to hang out on Friday Night. Located at the corner of Cady and Wing Streets.

    Live music by The Shawn Riley Band – 7 to 10:30 pm

    Non- Profit Booths Open – 5:00 – 8:00pm (E. Main)
    Over twenty (20) local non profit and school groups will be on East Main, providing food, games and fun. Great way to support the community non profits and school groups.

    Kids Zone – 6 – 10 pm (W. Main)
    Good old fashioned inflatables and hand moved rides are perfect for all ages.

    Victorian Parade – 6:30pm (See Parade Route)
    The Festival officially kicks off by celebrating its Victorian Heritage at the Victorian Parade

    SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th

    Northville Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast    8 – 11:00 am 
    Open to public.  Corner of Cady St. and Wing St.  Tickets available in advance or at the door.

    History Hike  10am (Maybury State Park)

    Maker Faire Car Show and Beer Tent     9 am – 4 pm
    Open to the public. The Village Workshop is located at 455 E. Cady Street, behind the  Northville Car Wash.

    Craft Market                            11am – 6pm (N. Center)
    Non – Profit Booths               11am – 6pm (E. Main)
    Kids Zone                                  11am – 10pm (W. Main)
    Children’s Pedal Cars           11am – 6pm (E. Main)

    Horse & Carriage Rides      Noon – 3 pm
    Take a trip around one of Northville’s historic neighborhoods the old fashioned way. Pick and drop off is located at the corner of W. Main and Wing Street.

    Farmer John Barnyard Express   Noon – 5 pm
    A festival favorite, Farmer John features a small petting farm and a family fun animal show.

    Eclipse Vintage Baseball     1:00 pm
    See how it all started with a vintage game of baseball played at Ford Field

    Back to the 80’s    Town Square 
    Town Square will host our look back to the 80’s both in Northville and around the country. Come on down to see our 80’s timeline, dress comparisons and more fun.

    80’s Tribute Band     5:00 – 7:00 pm 
    Get our your shoulder pads, tease your hair up a bit and come down to the Beaumont Town Square stage to hear your favorite 80’s hits.

    Baptist Church Service     10- 11:00am
    Join the Northville Baptist Church as they conduct a tent revival at the corner of Wing and Cady Street.
