COVID-19 has negatively impacted our lives in more ways than we can count. Unfortunately, this has held true for our irrigation/well project turn-on/startup. COVID-19, State of Michigan rules/regulations delayed our lawn & irrigation services until the first week of May. We also were waiting for our electrician to provide the pump station with power, that too was delayed. Once this was accomplished DTE had to approve & turn on the switch. That approval was obtained the last week of May. Once electricity was provided to our well pump, our pump provider then had to sign off and demonstrate the pump was functioning property per our contract. That was accomplished the second week of June. The final service provider was then Michigan Sprinkler & Rain Bird who begin to test the system & turn-on the week of June 29th. Which brings us to the present day.
We were informed on July 3rd @ 2PM that during the start-up process a problem occurred. As much as we would like to inform you of the nature of the problem and the mechanism for resolving it, we unfortunately do not have a handle on it as of yet. We hope to have our arms around it this week. As soon as we do, a special e-mail will be sent to the community.
Please believe us when we say that the Board is as frustrated and stressed with the present situation, if not more so, than the residents. We are working as quickly and as diligently as possible to get the irrigation working in the community. Unfortunately, there is just so much out of our control. We know its difficult but please be patient. Thank you.
