Entrance Landscaping

By | July 22, 2017

You were probably wondering why no flowers were planted at the front entrances this year.  That is because, the entrances are being refreshed.  On Thursday, all planting in front of the entrance walls have been removed, with the exception of the maple trees and yews directly in front of the walls.  They will be replaced with rose bushes, some shrubs and a limited area for annuals next year.   The design chosen by the Board is simpler, modern and designed to be more cost effective as it minimizes the amount of annuals to be planted each year.

Lighting at the entrances will be updated next.  As soon as the proper permits are secured an LED low voltage system will be installed.

The intent is to redo the island landscaping next year.
