“Lace in History” at the Northville Woman’s Club Meeting

By | October 28, 2017

The Northville Woman’s Club was organized in 1892 as a literary study group by Lucy Stout Dowd. This was long before the time of universal woman’s clubs. The first meetings were held in the old library building. It is one of the oldest organizations in the Northville community and also among the oldest woman’s clubs in the state of MI. Twelve meetings followed by an informative program are held during the months of October thru March.

The next meeting will be held at Historic Mill Race Village on Friday, November 3rd  at 1:30 PM. The program will be “LACE IN HISTORY” presented by Mary Salman who is the curator and owner of the lace museum in Northville.  Come join us as our guest.
